A Commanding View from Wharncliffe Chase

Wharncliffe Chase has been a Deer Park for over 700 years and is a Natural Heritage Site, owned and managed by the Wharncliffe Estate. The heath contains a rich diversity of wildlife with the northern area especially important for ground-nesting birds. This picture was taken from the highest point on the chase, where superb views over High Green and beyond can be enjoyed on a clear day.
