Stonefield Hill photo

Heather and peat hags east of the Blue Craigs

The hills between Glen Turret and upper Glen Almond are largely clad in heather, which is wind-clipped on the ridges but also riven by peat hags. Here the view is from a height of 760m, south-west towards the Blue Craigs and King Kenneth's Cairn on Choinneachain Hill.
